One Step Ahead follows Norwegian skier Bernt Marius as he gets back to doing what he loves: skiing big lines in the Sunnmøre Alps after losing his leg in an accident. The film immerses viewers in the world of high-altitude ski mountaineering, focusing on the technical side of skiing At its core, the film is also about partnership and exploration — trust, focus, and shared ambition that drive Andrzej and Jędrek through one of the wildest and most remote mountain regions on Earth.
